Panasonic Compressors Rebranded as Sonyo: Everything You Need to Know
We would like to inform you of an important update regarding our long-standing supplier, Sonyo Compressor (Dalian) Co., Ltd, better know as Panasonic.
As of December 6, 2022, the legal entity name “Panasonic Appliances Compressor (Dalian) Co., Ltd.” officially changed to “Sonyo Compressor (Dalian) Co., Ltd.”. This transition marks a strategic shift, with Sonyo Compressor now operating as part of Dalian Bingshan Group, where Panasonic retains a 30% shareholding. This change is designed to enhance flexibility and service, while maintaining the same high-quality products and reliability that our customers trust.
As the sole distributor of Sonyo Compressors in Europe, we want to ensure a smooth transition for our partners. Deliveries with the new brand logo will begin in October/November 2025, alongside those with the old brand logo, until the stock is fully transitioned.
